Position Description

Job Title: RN - ICU
Location: Novi, MI
Pay Rate: $46-$52/hr.
Weekly pay package: $1656-$1872/week
Duration: 13 weeks (Potential for extension or conversion based on need and performance )
Shift Hours: Midnights 1900-0730 every other weekend and holiday required, 48 hour schedule available if requested.
Requirements:
REQUIRED: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, current MI RN licensure.
THIS IS A NEURO ICU POSITION 2+ years Neuro ICU experience.
Preferred: Cerner experience, previous travel experience, previous level 2 trauma experience Ratio: 2:1

Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:
-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
